Roberto

Roberto
Well, Roberto is this little boy which is the oldest child of his migrant family. All his family live in Mexico in their little ranch named El Rancho Blanco. He is about 4 or 6 years older than his brother Francisco also called Panchito. He is a very hard worker guy in whom he loves a lot his family and his youngest brother. He worked with his parents picking cotton so that his family can move on. He is a very quiet guy. He have gone to school a year ago in which he leads his brother to the school since he have already been there before. As we can imagine that he is a very advanced boy in which that really helps out the story. Because he goes to school in which his papa and mama never did that but they do have the opportunity go. Well, that’s my character because he is a very hard worker. He is very closed and caring kid that helps his family.

The End

The End

Well, our ending is very happy and wonderful. The migrant family was so happy that they passed all the little pebbles that were put in their way. They were even happier when they save Torito life and that miracle was possible. The family did everything so that Torito wouldn’t die they even pray in front of what they called El Santo Nino De Atocha and they also pray to the Virgen De Guadalupe. Like I said they passed everything bad and good things. Roberto and Francisco also passed throw bad moments like when they started to go to school and they didn’t know anything of English. The very sad thing was that one day during school and immigration officer went to the school were Roberto and Francisco were assisting that they were being deported back to Mexico (few years later). At the beginning of the story I thought that Roberto’s family was not going to pass la frontera, but well they did. At first I thought that this story was gone be so boring because of the book cover it seems that they wouldn’t be able to be happy at California and neither Roberto nor Francisco at school because they were both Mexicans. There are many families that want to come out and follow their dreams, but they give up at the first chance. Don’t give up keep fighting like this family did and follow your dream. Every Mexican family has the same responsibilities as an American family just because they don’t know English it doesn’t mean that they are different and need to be treat bad or unfair.

Roberto Meaning in the Story

Roberto Meaning in the Story
Well, it all started when this family wanted to leave to California or like his dad uses to say to cross “la frontera”. He would always see that every time that his dad talks about it he would always have a smile in his face in which his other brother Francisco would also notice it. Know and then this certain day this family decides to cross la frontera. Dad would say that we should be careful with this certain guy that he called them la migra. Until he found a hole and started digging so that all his family could cross.
In which on the other side there was this lady waiting for them to pick them up. They started work two weeks later in which Roberto would help his parents work out so that Francisco would take care of his little brother named Trampita. Roberto would work hard so that his parents would be so proud of him and that in his family there would be no food missing. They received a lot of help with their neighbors and some news friends they made in California. Roberto and his other brother Francisco made a new friend this guy of the train that would pass through there every noon. This train guy also help this family with bringing food and some candies. Roberto is a very wonderful guy in which he is so generous. He is a very quiet guy and anybody would like to have a son like him. (Hard worker, quiet, generous and doesn’t complained for everything)

Introduction

The Circuit

This is mainly about this family in which their father is planning to cross la frontera with all his family. This family is poor that they want to go to California in which they think that is a better place to earn money and get a good job. It all comes to a day where this family crosses la frontera. They thought that it would be easier than they has been planning.

This little one kid would be so happy of living in California because every time his dad would talk about it he would have a big smile in his face. This family thought that it would be so easy to get job in there and would become a rich family. In which it all ended that California wasn’t like they have been thinking of and that they would swept money from the floor like one of his cousin had said. It all change the little kids life and there future. Roberto is a very hard worker kid and always takes care of his brother Panchito. I choose Roberto because like I said he is a very hard worker kid and is not mean with his family.
